Counselling & Psychotherapy

Different therapeutic models today can provide invaluable wisdom, strategies and tools to assist people move towards healthier functioning in their daily lives.  However, as previously mentioned, it is the nature of the therapeutic relationship itself that often facilitates dynamics of healing and change. As such, this is the main focus of the work in the initial stage and throughout. As time progresses I may utilise various therapeutic tools and interventions from different disciplines where appropriate.  I currently have over 4000 hours of clinical practice over the course of two decades and my Christian worldview continues to underpin this work.

For further information regarding the specifics of my integrative approach please take a look at 'My Approach' page.

The practicalities:

The first step is a brief 20 minutes zoom consultation, where together we determine if I am the right person for you to work with at this time.

The second step, once we have agreed to work together, is for us to establish a professional contract, which I will send through to you for you to review and sign - don't worry, this is a straight forward process and does not in any way commit you to working with me, you are very free to do what is best for you at any point along the journey.

Finally, we agree to meet - usually via zoom, this works surprisingly well for most people. Ideally we would initially meet weekly for 4 to 6 sessions if this is possible for you, then after that we can make whatever arrangement works for you.  For Spiritual Accompaniment, this is once a month.

The session length is 55 minutes and my hourly rate is £65.00.

Look forward to journeying with you soon!

Blessings, Louise
